The American High Speed Cargo System brings forward innovative thinking that could result in an important change in the economic outlook of the USA. To date virtually every government-originated attempt to right the economy and kick-start job creation has failed. This is because none of the initiatives have been based on a sound framework that is based on simple economic principles. Profit is not a bad word. Profit creates growth. Profit creates jobs. Government certainly doesn't create jobs. Taxation certainly doesn't create jobs. More government programs and reckless spending are guaranteed to cause further damage to our economy.

What we need is a project and a direction that requires the participation of a wide variety of industrial groups with common long-term goals. If the fundamentals are solid enough such an effort can and will create millions of jobs for decades to come. This is what economic recovery is about. This is what the American High Speed Cargo System is about.
